Originally from the UK, I’ve called Ireland home for the past eight years. With a love of the outdoors, nature and the night sky, photography has become a natural way for me to combine some of the things I enjoy most.

I’m fascinated by all aspects of photography, from the creative process of finding and composing an image to the technical side of understanding the equipment and techniques that make it possible. Being naturally technically minded, I particularly enjoy getting into the details, experimenting with new approaches and helping others understand how to get the most from their photography.

Landscape astrophotography brings all of this together: beautiful locations, dark skies, technical challenges and the experience of being outdoors after everyone else has gone home. For me, there’s something special about standing beneath a clear night sky and capturing a view of the landscape that we rarely get to see with our own eyes.
